JOHANNESBURG - The Pretoria High Court will establish a way forward on cellphone evidence in the Senzo Meyiwa trial after weeks of data exploration.
The court has been hearing evidence on calls allegedly made by the accused men around the time the football star was killed.

The State is also seeking to prove the locations of the accused through cellphone towers.
Five men are on trial for Meyiwa’s murder at the home of his girlfriend, singer Kelly Khumalo, almost a decade ago.
It has been weeks of testimony from Vodacom forensic supervisor, Pinky Vythilingham, with days of pauses in between due to illness before her marathon continued last week, but she is still not done.
Last week, Judge Ratha Mokgoatlheng pointed out the redundancy in the evidence being led by the State as prosecutor Ronnie Sibanda went through pages of data.
This prompted Sipho Ramasepele, lawyer for the second accused, to make some concessions, like how the number that was noted to be in communication with him while he was in police custody belonged to his girlfriend.
Following complaints by the judge on the voluminous nature of the data, Vythilingham has agreed to summarise her report and proceedings are expected to continue on Tuesday morning.
