KZN Premier Thami Ntuli ready to hit the ground running

JOHANNESBURG - Incoming KwaZulu-Natal Premier Thami Ntuli said he was ready to hit the ground running.
Ntuli will be inaugurated in Pietermaritzburg on Tuesday morning.
He was elected as premier by the provincial government of unity, which includes the African National Congress (ANC), Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP), Democratic Alliance (DA) and National Freedom Party (NFP).
He has served as the mayor of Nkandla, the mayor of the King Cetshwayo District Municipality, as well as the chairperson of the South African Local Government Association (SALGA) in the province.
Speaking to EWN, Ntuli outlined his list of priorities.
"Issues of unemployment, issues of crime and the dilapidated infrastructure, the issues of the economy, which is no longer producing job opportunities, will be on top of our agenda."
Ntuli said the IFP would continue in their calls for the provincial legislature to be moved back to Ulundi from Pietermaritzburg.
"The investment that was made in Ulundi ought not to be abandoned, at the very same time the ensuring that Pietermaritzburg as the capital city is revived."
