CAPE TOWN - It's been yet another bloody long weekend in Cape Town, with police responding to a number of shooting and stabbing incidents.
 
A 28-year-old man was killed and two women were wounded in a shooting in Ravensmead and the motive for the attack is not yet known.
 
In Mfuleni, detectives were called to a scene in Extension 3, where they found the body of a man with multiple stab wounds.
 
Two men were shot and killed in Washington Street in Langa and hours later, police were deployed to Zone 23, also in Langa, where a man was found stabbed to death.
 
The police's Wesley Twigg: "Police members attended to a complaint of a murder at the local hospital where they body of the victim was pointed out by medical staff. According, to reports the victim sustained a stab wound to his chest and was brought to hospital where he was declared deceased. The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation."
