The GNU is the ANC’s attempt to govern with all parties represented in Parliament. However, only five of the 18 represented parties have signed onto it.
FF Plus’s head of elections, Wouter Wessels, said the party was meeting with its structures to discuss possible proposals and amendments to the GNU contract.
"We received the document, the agreement of intent, on Friday with an invitation to provide inputs and possible amendments if we were to bring such proposals, and we are currently in that process. We are meeting with our structures this afternoon [Tuesday]."
