JOHANNESBURG - Deputy President Paul Mashatile revealed what he believes will be top of the agenda for the seventh administration after parties in the government of national unity (GNU) struck a deal this past week.
The deal preceded the re-election of President Cyril Ramaphosa to the highest office, with some changes to the Cabinet expected after his upcoming inauguration.

The government has previously been plagued by issues of high unemployment, poor governance, corruption, and an ailing economy.
But Mashatile said the new government will spend the next five years tackling these pressing socioeconomic challenges.
He was speaking at the commemoration of Youth Day in Limpopo on Sunday.
"We are confident that under President Ramaphosa and the ANC [African National Congress]-led government of national unity, we will continue to address the challenges facing young people in this country.
"In this regard, we will in the next five years focus on creating jobs and building an inclusive and growing economy. We will equally focus on implementing programmes focusing on skilling the youth with the skills of the future."
