KZN government of provincial unity advances political stability - Premier Thami Ntuli

PIETERMARITZBURG - Newly elected Kwazulu-Natal Premier Thami Ntuli has described the formation of a coalition in the province as a step towards political stability.
Ntuli, an IFP candidate was elected into the position during the first sitting of the provincial legislature on Friday.

He was backed by the ANC, DA and National Freedom Party (NFP) for the position after the KZN legislature elected a speaker from the ANC and a deputy speaker from the NFP.
Ntuli said that the arrangement will deliver a stable provincial government.
"Our government of provincial unity, the issue of stability, we were not going to arrive here if we had not engaged and agreed on some frameworks that would be guiding our working together," he said.
"And I am confident that with the understanding of the framework of the management of the government of provincial unity, our working together will be a stable one."
