“Where else do you take it than where we symbolise and reflect on the past 30 years? Pretoria, Tshwane, the city of government is definitely the place.”
– Mzoxolo Jojwana, Chief Content Officer – Primedia Broadcasting
The walk starts at the Freedom Park Heritage Site and finishes at the Southern Lawns at the Union Buildings.
“We are inviting 30 000 walkers to honour the 30 years of our democracy. Walking from Freedom Park is symbolic, all the way to the Union Buildings. This is a journey of the past 30 years, from 1994 to 2024.”
– Mzoxolo Jojwana, Chief Content Officer – Primedia Broadcasting
“We feel quite honoured that the City of Tshwane, Freedom Park and the Union Buildings were able to host us… it is particularly special to us.”
