MK Party calls on IFP to form coalition in KZN
MK party’s head of elections, Muzi Ntshingila said both parties share common strategic goals like wanting to bring back the dignity of the Zulu kingdom and making KZN the country’s major economic hub.

JOHANNESBURG - The uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party has called on the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) to work with it, saying they share similar political ideologies.
Representatives from the two parties are expected to meet on Wednesday for coalition discussions.
Both parties have a number of seats nationally and in the two hung provincial legislatures of KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) and Gauteng.
MK party’s head of elections, Muzi Ntshingila, said both parties shared common strategic goals like wanting to bring back the dignity of the Zulu kingdom and making KZN the country’s major economic hub.
"I think also on the leadership of tribal authority, and the issue of the land. On how we look into the banking systems and the economy in relation to the Ithala bank as an example, which is a bank that seeks to serve the interests of Africans but mostly in KZN."
