What is the viral 'My Best Day Netflix' filter?
A new viral filter is taking over social media, but it seems to have nothing to do with Netflix.

Have you noticed a new Netflix-inspired filter taking over your feed?
A new My Best Day filter is going viral on Instagram and Snapchat.
It allows people to add pictures or videos under 'My Best Day'.
Your moment will appear in the Netflix-like menu on the filter, making it look like a movie or title.
If you thought this was a promo for an upcoming project, you're not the only one.
I actually thought this my best day Netflix stuff was a movie and I was looking for it on Netflix since just for me to start seeing random people putting their pictures 😭😭😭😭 I feel scammed

While Netflix has released several Day-titles, from Jenna Ortega’s Yes Day to the romantic drama One Day (and this would be a genius way to promote its next project), it seems the platform is not the brains behind this trend.
According to The Direct, the filter was created by a user named Yajan.
It features Netflix’s identical home screen (layout and logo included), without the top banner.
Where you usually see a clip loop of the latest film or movie, it will overlap with your image or video of choice.
The filter has been used over nine million times on Instagram.
