The community said there had been a spike in deadly shootings in the area recently.

Police are investigating the motive of the attack and no one has been arrested.

Four-year-old Enzokuhle Dladlu is the youngest victim of the Site C deadly shooting.

A devastated Sheila Dladlu's face lit up when describing her relationship with her granddaughter.

“Enzokuhle and I both loved each other. I had a very special bond with her. Even at night, she would demand to sleep with me instead of sleeping with her mother."

Ten-year-old Lunje Chomo's mother, Zoleka, described him as a child who loved working in the garden.

"Even on Saturday, he woke up and watered his garden. Even now, he leaves his growing spinach behind."

Police said they would leave no stone unturned in bringing the gunmen to book.
