The disgraced minister has, in a statement, slammed accusations that he was responsible for the controversial voice note.
In the recording, a deep voice can be heard making damning allegations about the ANC, its president, Cyril Ramaphosa, and the South African economy.
Other allegations include so-called control by political parties on a range of matters.
One post shared on social media platform, X, was littered with comments suggesting that the voice was without a doubt Kodwa's.
The former minister has, however, pleaded with the public to refrain from sharing the content, labelling it destructive mischief.
