In a bid to provide what he called much-needed relief to landlords, NSFAS administrator, Freeman Nomvalo, said that the scheme was making bulk payments to the landlords as part of its interventions.

"The NSFAS administrator pleads with landlords who still have outstanding payments not to evict students as NSFAS is committed to ensuring that all legitimate claims are resolved not later than the 18th of June 2024," said spokesperson, Ishmael Mnisi.

Mnisi added that the window for landlords with outstanding claims was still open.

"Landlords who did not submit their claims for outstanding payments are still encouraged to refer their queries to our dedicated email address, nsfasaccomprov@nsfas.org.za."
