Ramaphosa made his way to the Eastern Cape on Friday, to assess the impact of the recent flooding in the province.

“We have a natural disaster department that must always be ready to respond. They work with other departments: the Department of Human Settlement, the Department of Roads, Social Welfare as well. They work together to deal with the disasters like the one you are having here. Now the government is preparing to come and help everyone here.”
