CAPE TOWN - The State on Wednesday continued presenting evidence to implicate Zane Kilian.
Kilian is an accused in the high-profile trial against alleged underworld crime boss, Nafiz Modack, in the murder of top cop, Charl Kinnear.
Kilian and Modack, along with 13 others, face 124 charges related to various crimes, including the murder of Kinnear.
The Hawks' Captain Edward du Plessis showed the court WhatsApp messages between Kilian and attorney, Eric Brier, four days after Kinnear's murder.
The State said that Kilian used a tracking platform to provide Modack with the location of Kinnear, in a plot to have him murdered.
State prosecutor, Greg Wolmarens, asked Du Plessis to read out one of the messages Brier sent to Kilian.
"What does Mr Brier communicate?" asked Wolmarens.
"He's saying: 'Send bank details... keep myself, you and the boss covered... keep yourself, me and boss covered,'" said Du Plessis.
The trial is set to continue in the Western Cape High Court on Thursday.
