NPA wants to try Mapisa-Nqakula's corruption case at high court
Mapisa-Nqakula, who made a brief second appearance at the Pretoria Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning, is charged with twelve counts of corruption and one for money laundering.

JOHANNESBURG - The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) wants to try former Parliament Speaker Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula's corruption case at the High Court.
Mapisa-Nqakula made a brief second appearance at the Pretoria Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning.

She is charged with 12 counts of corruption and one for money laundering.
Mapisa-Nqakula is accused of receiving about R4.5 million worth of kickbacks from her contractor during her time as the country's Defence minister.
The matter has been postponed to 9 July for the serving of the indictment and a High Court date.
