JOHANNESBURG - African Congress for Transformation (ACT) leader Ace Magashule says the party is considering taking legal action against the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC), as he believes votes have been rigged.

He made this comment at the National Results Operation Centre (ROC) on Friday, reacting to his party failing to meet his expectations.
Magashule said he can prove his party has been affected by the alleged rigging of votes.
“Before we go to court, we will tell IEC to do its recount and they will see. Some of the votes have been taken from us and given to ActionSA - those are things we will prove.”
Despite Magashule’s utterances, a study conducted by the Human Sciences Research Council shows that a majority of voters believe the IEC has delivered free and fair elections.
