Why? Because the voter in question comes from the controversial ‘whites-only’ town of Orania.
As the Electoral Commission (IEC) continues to tally up the country’s votes for the 2024 election, news of the single vote has social media buzzing.
Located in the Northern Cape, Orania has a population of about 3,000 people.
The right-wing Afrikaans VF+ (Freedom Front Plus) has dominated the votes in the area for several years .
