It only managed to secure 49.47%.
The DA has 20.9%, the EFF 13.2% and the Patriotic Alliance (PA) 8.6%.

The ANC, which now has 15 of the 30 seats in the legislature, will need to form a coalition if it wants to govern.
All the opposition parties had said that their main aim in this election was to destroy the ANC's majority.
The DA said that it would not consider a coalition with the ANC. the PA and EFF's response was more nuanced when asked the question.
