Just over 35% of total votes in Western Cape captured
Votes in the Western Cape continue to be counted at the results operation centre in Cape Town, where just over 30% of total votes in the province have been captured.

CAPE TOWN - Votes in the Western Cape continue to be counted at the results operation centre in Cape Town, where just over 30% of total votes in the province have been captured.
Thirty-five point two-four percent of the 504,835 of the total valid votes have now been captured in the Western Cape.

The IEC is holding a briefing where they are expected to provide more details on how the capturing process is going.
Eyewitness News also spoke to Western Cape Police Commissioner Thembisile Patekile, who said that there had been 25 cases of crimes, with 10 people arrested related to the elections in the province during this electoral period.
A 65-year-old man was arrested for election fraud on Wednesday after he voted twice in Gardens near the City Bowl.
