PARYS - As the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) continues to call on South Africans to exercise their right to vote, some residents in Parys say they have mixed emotions about these elections.
While some vowed to still make their way to polling stations later on Wednesday, others told Eyewitness News they would not be taking part.
Long queues were the order of the day at voting stations across South Africa today, in Tumahole in Parys, some residents were queuing to get water at a borehole - just down the road from a polling station.
The frustrated residents said they would be boycotting these elections because government had paid them little to no attention.
