Lester Kiewit speaks to Justin van Wyk of Ticketmaster South Africa to explain how rugby fans can secure tickets to see the All Blacks take on South Africa at the Cape Town Stadium on 7 September.
A much-anticipated test match between rugby's greatest rivals, the Springboks and the All Blacks, takes place at the DHL Stadium in Cape Town on 7 September.
Fans will have to register and enter a ticket lottery process, as demand for seats is extremely high and to prevent bulk ticket purchases for re-selling.
The ticket registration link is live and published on Ticketmaster, the Stormers and W. P. Rugby websites, and social media.
Tickets for the highly anticipated Springboks vs All Blacks Rugby Championship Test will finally go on sale on 19 June.
How ticket registration works:
The registration does not automatically secure your tickets but secures you a place in the draw.
Before 17 June, successful applicants will be randomly selected from the pool to purchase up to FOUR digital tickets per customer, first come first serve.
Ticket prices range from R250 to R3500.
Season ticket holders automatically have tickets to this event, says van Wyk.
SA Rugby believes this will be the 'fairest way' of buying tickets.
"A ticket ballot process will be conducted to ensure a fair process as well as to reduce the number of secondary resales, ticket fraud, and illegally counterfeited tickets, with various physical and digital safety controls to be put in place.”
