All week John Maytham has been speaking to voters in the Western Cape who are certain where they will make their mark.

"I'm just tired of seeing people suffering just five minutes down the road from where I live in the township. To see the way people living like that is just inhumane."

The EFF's manifesto is built upon seven 'pillars', the first of which is the expropriation of South Africa’s land without compensation.

Summers says that is the party's most important policy.

"It is crucial for a person's dignity, for a person's wellbeing to be able to exist in a state of dignity, that is our number one cardinal pillar."

"The part that most media leave out is where we have it for the equal redistribution of all South Africans. That includes White, Indian, Asian, etc."
- Cameron Summers, EFF voter
"What I can tell you, is that the EFF that I know are very, very hard workers and we have an excellent ground game."
