CAPE TOWN - Western Cape police say they can't confirm whether the man arrested in Beaufort West is linked to the killing of two Sasko employees in Cape Town a week ago.
Reports have been circulating on social media claiming that a Zimbabwean man was nabbed on Wednesday in connection with the double murder.
Two men were shot and killed inside a bread truck in Delft last Thursday.
Provincial police commissioner, Thembisile Patekile, said that the 28-year-old Zimbabwean man was not a suspect in the matter.
"We haven't been able at this stage to say that person is directly linked to that shooting, but there is a person who was arrested as undocumented yesterday."
