Slim Shady fans, stand up!
Eminem has dropped major hints that his upcoming album ‘The Death of Slim Shady’ is coming sooner than you think.
It all started with a true-crime parody video about Slim, mirrored after shows like ‘Unsolved Mysteries’.
The narrator details the enemies Slim Shady made over the years due to his 'tongue-twisting rhymes'.
“The same rude and controversial lyrics may have ultimately led to [his] demise.”
Next was an obituary in the local Detroit Free Press declaring the 'sudden and horrific end' of Slim Shady.
“His complex and tortured existence has come to a close, and the legacy he leaves behind is no closer to resolution than the manner in which this character departed the world,” the obituary reads.
The latest teaser has led people to believe the album is coming soon.
Eminem posted a video of a text message on his Instagram.
The contact info at the top reads ‘All Contacts’ and the message reads 'And for my last trick!'.
Fans noted that the text message was ‘sent’ on Friday, 31 May at midnight.
Is it a new single or the entire album? Let’s wait and see…
