Leon Schuster is 'sick and tired' as fake news about his apparent death swept social media over the weekend.
Setting the record straight, the local comedian and filmmaker says that he is very much alive after undergoing two back surgeries.
While his road to recovery hasn’t been without its challenges, he remains positive.
“I hear I'm dead again. What crazy head posts stuff like this?... It's not nice when your people call you and say 'I'm so happy to hear your voice',” he wrote.
“I'm a Cheetah, a cat, and this is the sixth time this has happened. Luckily a cat has nine lives, so at least I have three left!”
He shared a video clip of friend and actor Alred Ntombela jokingly reacting to the rumours.
“I'm sick and tired of hearing over social media we are dead. I will let our fans know. Please tell your friends or whoever is next to you we are not dead.”
