DURBAN - The Durban Magistrates Court said it would have been reckless and irresponsible for bail to be granted to the five men accused of killing rapper Kiernan "AKA" Forbes and his friend Tebello "Tibz" Motsoane.
All five men will remain behind bars after the court denied them bail on Wednesday.

The court said that it was convinced that the State had a strong case against the group.
The Durban Magistrates Court said that the accused in the high-profile murder case of rapper AKA and his friend Tibz had a case to answer and while they claimed that the State's evidence was weak, the court believes they failed to provide any substantial evidence to counter the State's case so far.
Magistrate Vincent Hlatshwayo detailed the reasons for rejecting their bail application.
"It is the finding of this court that it would be reckless and irresponsible to allow the applicants on bail. It is therefore the finding of this court that in the circumstances, bail is refused in respect of all five."
The defence said it was unhappy with Wednesday's outcome.
The matter will return to court in two months.
