Rushil and Nishani Singh are at the centre of two major police investigations.
The first is the case of the double murder of liquidators Cloete and Thomas Murray, and the second is a R150 million fraud case.
Cloete Murray and his son Thomas were shot and killed on a highway in March last year, shortly after they began investigating the Singh’s alleged corruption in Ghana.
Cloete Murray had already begun identifying assets to seize, including part of the Singhs' R120 million luxury car collection.
The investigation threatened the Singhs' massive empire worth hundreds of millions.
“If you put yourself in the Singhs' shoes, what is happening here is your entire world is coming apart..."
