JOHANNESBURG - African National Congress (ANC) President, Cyril Ramaphosa said that employment opportunities similar to the Gauteng government’s Nasi iSpani mass recruitment programme will be rolled out across the country.
Ramaphosa made this commitment to Atteridgeville residents in Pretoria West during his election campaign on Friday.
During Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi’s State of the Province address earlier this year, he said that Nasi iSpani has employed over 90,000 people since its formation in June 2023.

Ramaphosa said that the whole country will soon benefit from similar initiatives.
“Jobs are the first priority which we are going to focus on. We are going to work with the private sector to create more and more jobs. As the public sector, we are also going to work hard to create more and more jobs. That is why we have initiated a number of initiatives.”
Ramaphosa promises the community that the ANC government will create more employment opportunities.
