Five dead and 13 injured as shop wall collapses in Ngcobo in the Eastern Cape

JOHANNESBURG - Five people have been killed and 13 others injured, after  a wall collapse in Ngcobo in the Eastern Cape.

The provincial health department confirmed that the incident occurred earlier on Friday at a local shop.

 Those injured are receiving medical treatment.

 Eastern Cape Health Spokesperson Mkhululi Ndamase said, "emergency medical services personnel and other rescue workers are still busy with search and rescue."
