Smoke seen on Joburg's M1 highway near area where underground fire extinguished
The smoke is coming from a different section of the M1, further away from where the initial fire was on Wednesday.

JOHANNESBURG - The M1 highway near the Johannesburg city centre has once again been covered with smoke in what seems to be a flare-up following a fire.
The route was reopened to traffic on Wednesday night after EMS officials extinguished a blaze.
City Power suspects that cable thieves were behind the incident.

There is a cloud of smoke on the M1 once again, despite EMS teams putting out the fire on Wednesday.
The smoke is coming from a different section of the M1, further away from where the initial fire was on Wednesday.
EMS officials are not yet on site but are expected to arrive for an inspection.
At the moment, this has not affected traffic flow on the double-decker highway.
Eyewitness News is yet to confirm whether this is a flare-up of the fire.
