Cape Town International Jazz Festival road closures

CAPE TOWN - The Cape Town International Jazz Festival returns to the Mother City after an absence of four years.
The event takes place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre on 3 and 4 May.
The following road closures will be in effect for the festival:
- Walter Sisulu Avenue (East Bound) between Lower Long and Heerengracht streets – from 05:00 on Friday to 17:00 on Saturday
- Jetty Street between Lower Long and Wharf streets – from 13:00 on Friday to 17:00 on Saturday
- Walter Sisulu Avenue (West Bound) between Heerengracht and Lower Long streets – from 13:00 on Friday to 17:00 on Saturday
Wings for Life World Run road closures
The Wings for Life World Run event takes place on Sunday, 5 May in Cape Town and thousands of runners are expected to participate.
Runners will gather at the Green Point Urban Park for the global virtual event, which starts at 1pm.
The following roads will be impacted by the race:
- Vlei Road and Fritz Sonnenberg Road between 12:30 and 13:30
- Fritz Sonnenberg and Beach Road Crossing between 12:30 and 13:30
- Beach Road Crossing at Lighthouse between 12:30 and 17:00
