Kabza De Small, Mthunzi win big at Metro FM Awards
The Amapiano duo scooped four awards, including Song of the Year for ‘Imithandazo’.

Kabza De Small and Mthunzi were the biggest winners at this year’s Metro FM Music Awards.
The 18th edition of the awards took place in Mbombela on Saturday (27 April).
The Amapiano duo took home four awards – Best Amapiano, Best Produced Album, Best Collaboration and Song of the Year for their smash hit ‘Imithandazo’.

Other notable winners on the night included Tyla for the Global Icon Award and Artist of the Year went to Lwah Ndlunkulu.
Oskido and Boom Shaka were honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award for their contributions to the industry.
Boom Shaka members Thembi Seete, Theo Nhlengethwa and Junior Sokhela said it felt special to accept the award on Freedom Day.
The trio reunited to perform some of their classic hits, including fan favourite ‘It’s About Time’.
Seete says the performance was reminiscent of some of the performances from the 90s with he late Lebo Mathosa.
