Action SA: True freedom will only be realised when South Africans are paid well and feel safe

JOHANNESBURG - ActionSA said true freedom could only be realised once South Africans had well-paying jobs and felt safe in their communities.
The organisation is commemorating Freedom Day in Orange Farm, south of Johannesburg, where party supporters gathered at the local community hall.

ActionSA Leader Herman Mashaba said 30 years into democracy, South Africans continue to face challenges that affected their livelihoods.
"Too many of our people have become captive to the cycle of poverty, while communities have grown dangerous as crime has spiralled out of control.
“This year, ActionSA believes that South Africans have the opportunity to turn around the decay in our country and restore the country to a path of prosperity," said Mashaba.
