Accident near Qonce in EC claims lives of four people

CAPE TOWN - Another horrific accident has claimed the lives of four people in Eastern Cape.
A bakkie and an Avanza collided head-on along the R346 just outside Qonce, in the direction of Stutterheim, on Monday.
On Sunday, seven people were killed and five others injured in a horror accident on the R67 between Fort Beaufort and Seymour.
Eastern Cape’s Department of Transport spokesperson, Unathi Binqose, said a case of culpable homicide had been opened.
"It was three people who died on the scene, two adult males and a child, while the other child later succumbed to injuries and died in hospital.
“This takes the death toll to 11 from two separate accidents on the province's roads. A call to us as road users is made to be extra vigilant on the roads."
