Resident Shahid Williams says there are a number of issues he agrees with the EFF on.
“Number one, the Palestine issue. They were very vocal, they didn’t mince their words regarding it. Even the land grab issue, they are very vocal with what they do and I believe that you need some radical change in this country.”
Mike Martin said he is attended the EFF's gathering with an open mind.
However, he does not agree with the party’s policy of a borderless Africa.
“Opening up the borders, that will never resonate with any South African because South Africans they need to be looked after from a government perspective, and no government has done that and now he wants to open up borders, imagine.”
