South Africa will experience FOUR solar eclipses from now to 2030

People from Northern Mexico to Canada experienced a rare total solar eclipse on Monday.

Many completely lost their marbles, perhaps because the next one will only take place in 2044, and Bonny Tyler’s 1983 song “Total Eclipse of the Heart” even shot to number one on Spotify.

South Africans missed out but they’ll soon get their chance at the madness.

* 6 February 2027

* 5 December 2029

Then, on 25 November 2030, we’ll experience the 'magic' of a total solar eclipse, and humanity going batty.
