The Social Research Foundation's survey suggests that the ruling party may only secure around 39% of the vote in the 29 May elections.
Jacob Zuma's Umkhonto weSizwe Party (MK) appears poised to emerge as the nation's third-largest party.

The survey primarily targeted the Western Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, and Gauteng, the crucial battlegrounds for the upcoming election.
