JOHANNESBURG - Tshwane residents are warned to brace themselves for water outages this week owing to planned infrastructure repair work.
The Water and Sanitation Department is working to repair major leaks at reservoirs.
The city says the repairs will be done at the main hospital and Meintjieskop Resevoirs from Tuesday.
The Tshwane District Hospital and its surrounding areas are expected to be without water for at least eight hours.
On Wednesday, the city will also carry out maintenance work in Elardus Park which may disrupt water supply.
"Residents are informed that the city’s team of technicians will conduct a follow-up upgrade work and tie in connection at the same location on Wednesday, 17 April 2024 for 8 hours," said spokesperson Lindela Mashego.
