AKA murder: The family of Mfundo Gcaba declare their support
Last week the Durban Magistrate’s court heard from the state how Gcaba allegedly deposited over eight hundred thousand rand into the bank account of accused number four Mziwethemba Gwabeni.

JOHANNESBURG - The family of businessman Mfundo Gcaba who was named in the murder of Kiernan Forbes, have declared their support for him, dismissing suggestions that he may be involved in the rapper’s murder.
Last week the Durban Magistrate’s court heard from the state how Gcaba allegedly deposited over R800,000 into the bank account of accused number four Mziwethemba Gwabeni.

In a statement the family which runs a taxi empire in KwaZulu-Natal raised concerns that authorities had not yet contacted Mfundo, refuting any suggestions that he may be involved in any shady dealings.
“I think once the court process has unfolded and there are new news and developments then maybe it will be appropriate for further updates to the public. For now, we are conformed by the sub-judice manner of the matter, let's not run parallel processes"
The family says they are willing to cooperate with authorities in the pursuit of justice.
