JOHANNESBURG - African National Congress (ANC) President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to grace St Engenas Zion Christian Church with his presence in Limpopo, for its annual Easter conference on Sunday afternoon.
Thousands of pilgrims from all corners of the country have gathered at the denomination’s headquarters in Moria, outside Polokwane, to attend the Easter pilgrimage.
The gathering comes three days after 45 people - who were travelling from Botswana to Moria for the conference - were killed when the bus they were travelling in veered off a bridge.
An eight-year-old girl, who was travelling with her grandmother, is the only survivor of the fatal crash.
The mega church is also still recovering from the impact of the COVID-19 lockdown.
Ramaphosa will be accompanied by ANC members of the national and provincial executive committees on Sunday afternoon.
