The party said when the candidates' lists were published on Tuesday, it appeared on three ballots, however, when it checked on Wednesday, it was only appearing on the provincial lists.
IEC Chairperson Mosotho Moepya said the commission only picked up after publishing the lists that Arise SA did not submit their national and regional lists.
“We do have parties that regrettably have not met that parliamentary requirement. That was taken off. It was not taken off because of a systems error, and I want to be very clear, the parties concerned did not comply.”
