SIU seeking to blacklist tech giant Oracle over dodgy tenders
The Special Investigating Unit has discovered Oracle’s tender to overhaul government's IT systems was irregular.

National Treasury awarded the tech group a contract in 2015 to update the government's Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS).
But 9 years later and R822 million spent, it has not been rolled out.

The Special Investigating Unit (SIU) is seeking to institute proceedings to have the company blacklisted.
According to Kgayago, they found procurement policies were not followed, and there was evidence of collusion between individuals at National Treasury and the company.
