Lamola approves extradition request of two men linked to AKA, Tibz murders
The siblings, Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande, were arrested by Eswatini police and INTERPOL in February.

JOHANNESBURG - Minister of Justice and Correctional Services Ronald Lamola has approved a request for the extradition of two men linked to the murders of rapper Kiernan "AKA" Forbes and celebrity chef Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane.
Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande were arrested by members of the Royal Eswatini Police Service and the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) at a rented flat in Mbabane in February.

South African authorities want the siblings, who are from Durban, to stand trial for their alleged involvement in the murder of AKA and Tibz in 2023.
“The request is made in terms of the extradition treaty between South Africa and the Kingdom of Eswatini, as well as the SADC [Southern African Development Community] protocol on extradition, to which both countries are signatories,” said the minister's spokesperson Chrispin Phiri.
