It is unclear whether the two are related.
Lindani appeared in the Durban Magistrates Court on Monday, alongside four other accused in the case for a bail application.
They are implicated in the murder of AKA and his friend Tebello "Tibz" Motsoane.
Lindani’s attorney, Advocate Joe Woolmarans, read his affidavit into the record as well as Thulakusinda’s confirmatory affidavit.
Thulakusinda’s affidavit confirmed Lindani’s place of residence is in northern KwaZulu-Natal.
In his affidavit, Lindani confirmed his family ties to the taxi industry, going as far as to say that their arrests were part of a bigger plot against their family by South African Police Service top brass.
The accused will appear in court on Tuesday morning, as there is still one outstanding bail application to be heard.
