Two accused of murdering Senzo Meyiwa claim Kelly Khumalo ordered the deadly hit
In their confessions, both Bongani Ntanzi and Muzi Sibiya claimed the football star’s 2014 murder was a hit, that they were paid to carry out.

JOHANNESBURG - Singer Kelly Khumalo has been outed by two of the men accused of murdering Senzo Meyiwa, with one saying she had him killed for money.
The details have been revealed in the Pretoria High Court, where confessions signed by Bongani Ntanzi and Muzi Sibiya have been unsealed.

In their confessions, both men claimed Meyiwa’s murder was a hit, that they were paid to carry out.
But they distanced themselves from the confession, saying they were severely beaten to sign them.
Sibiya, Ntanzi, and three others stand accused of the football star’s 2014 murder.
It was established in court during the trial within a trial that in their confessions, both Sibiya and Ntanzi revealed how Kelly Khumalo allegedly ordered a hit on her lover.
On Friday, as Sibiya’s confession was read by Lieutenant Colonel Mhlanganyelwa Mbotho who took the statement, more detail was revealed, hinting at a motive.
“… He further mentioned to Mkhulu that we are going to kill Senzo Meyiwa – and we were bought or hired by Kelly Khumalo who was the girlfriend. Marco told us that Kelly wants money from Senzo, but he never told Mkhulu…”
According to Sibiya’s confession, the two men that approached him to carry out the hit claimed they had been paid a total of R100,000 by Khumalo.
Sibiya claimed he was given R30,000 as payment the day after the hit.
