The rumour mill ran rife after Kensington Palace’s photoshopped Mother’s Day photo of Kate Middleton went viral.
The clearly photoshopped picture was shared by the Palace but was recalled by several reputable news sites for being manipulated.

While the Palace released a short statement by Kate, saying she likes to “occasionally experiment with editing”, she did not take accountability for this specific picture.
“She doesn’t say ‘I edited this one’. So in other words, did someone at the Palace get hold of the photo or put the photo together in the first place? [And] how much of a lie is this photo remains the question?”
