Kensington Palace fakes Kate Middleton pic, fuelling disappearance conspiracies
Several media publications have withdrawn the image after realising the Royal Family's PR people manipulated it.

Kensington Palace got more than they bargained for with their recent Mother’s Day picture of Kate Middleton.
After months of speculation on the whereabouts of the Dutchess, the Palace released an image of Middleton on Mother’s Day that appeared to have been edited.
The image of the Princess and her three children went viral after social media users pointed out discrepancies.
Middleton is missing her wedding ring, and Princess Charlotte’s sleeves do not appear to line up correctly.
George’s right hand is out of focus and none of the children’s fingers are clearly visible.
The Palace claims the image was taken by Prince William earlier in the week.
Thank you for your kind wishes and continued support over the last two months.

The Associated Press, AFP, and Reuters issued rare ‘kill’ notifications for it.
“At closer inspection, it appears that the source has manipulated the image,” a message from the AP read.
