'We are not corrupt': BOSA refuses to work with parties not aligned with values
The party said its internal polls indicated that no party contesting in the 2024 elections would achieve an outright majority, meaning coalitions in government were inevitable.

JOHANNESBURG - Build One South Africa (BOSA) says it will not work with corrupt parties that do not align with its values.
On Thursday, the party submitted to the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) the required number of registered voter signatures that would allow it to contest nationally and in all nine provinces.

It set itself an ambitious target of one million votes in their maiden election showing.
BOSA said its internal polling data showed no party would receive a 50.1% majority in the national elections, adding that a coalition government was inevitable.
BOSA leader Mmusi Maimane said the party wanted to set itself as an anchor tenant for the new government.
“We don’t collide, we are not corrupt, and we will never coalesce on colour. Even the parties we work with, if you want collusion, then go somewhere else.”
Political parties have until the end of business on Friday to submit all necessary documents and payments to the IEC to ensure their spots in the ballot paper.
