The UDM has unveiled its official manifesto for the 2024 Elections.
With the objective of ending the long-standing dominance of the ANC and addressing deeply rooted corruption, UDM seeks to prioritise the interests of the South African populace and rejuvenate the integrity of democratic establishments.
The party's agenda encompasses addressing:
- Corruption
- Economic policies
- Infrastructure and energy
- Crime and lawlessness
- Environmental issues
Since its inception in 1999, the party has witnessed a decline in electoral support in each general election.
Initially securing 14 parliamentary seats, it plummeted to just two in the recent elections.
When asked if there are any limitations on the UDM's willingness to be in coalitions, Holomisa says:
"The United Democratic Movement is not prepared to put preconditions when it is necessary to be around the table to discuss that."
