5 suspects in AKA and Tibz murder case appear in court

7 suspects have been arrested in the murder case of rapper Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes, and celebrity chef Tebello Tibz Motsoane.
The pair were shot and killed in Durban in February 2023.
Processes are underway to extradite the remaining two suspects from Eswatini, where they were arrested.
Bheki Cele, Police Minister, says that there was high pressure on this case, and he is satisfied that the police have done a great job.
EWN KZN Reporter Nhlanhla Mabaso, says that the suspects arrived wearing masks but were ordered to remove them allowing the public to see their faces.
Minister in the Presidency briefs media on Cabinet meeting outcomes
Minister in The Presidency, Khumbudzo Ntshavheni, briefed the media on the outcomes of the Cabinet meeting held on Wednesday, 28th February 2024.
Nokukhanya Mntambo, EWN Reporter, says that the minister spoke about the recent budget speech and welcomed the commitments government has made.
She also focused on the importance of the upcoming national elections and called on the youth to turn up and cast their votes.

Angelo Agrizzi appears in Pretoria High Court
Former Bosasa Chief Operations Officer (COO) Angelo Agrizzi has been found fit to stand trial and appeared virtually in the Pretoria High court.
There was an inquiry into Agrizzi’s fitness to stand trial as a result of numerous health issues including a heart attack in 2020.
He faces charges of corruption in relation to alleged dodgy dealings involving Bosasa.

Still no sign of missing Joshlin Smith
The search for 6-year-old Joshlin Smith has gone into its second week.
The community has been asked not to participate and to allow the authorities to do their jobs.
The case of Joshlin Smith has struck the community of Saldanha Bay after she disappeared last Monday while in the care of her mother’s boyfriend.
